Privacy Policy

Introduction

In this privacy policy, Plöckl Media Group GmbH describes how it handles data acquired from users who access our website under https://www.be-pmg.de or provide us with personal data by another method.

Basis for data collection

We must process your personal data (i.e., any data which allows you to be identified using acceptable means; “personal data”) in order to meet our contractual obligations to you and provide you with our services, to protect our legitimate interests and financial regulatory obligations which we have no alternative but to follow.

By using this website, you agree to the collection, saving and use of your personal data for the establishment of personal contact, as described in this privacy policy.

Please read the privacy policy through carefully before making any decisions.

Which data is collected?

We collect two types of data and information from users.

The first category comprises non-identifying and non-identifiable user data supplied or collected through the use of the website (“non-personal data”). We do not know the identity of the user from whom non-personal data has been collected. The collected non-personal data comprises, among other things, aggregate usage and technical data transmitted from your device, including specific software and hardware information (e.g., the browser used on your device, the operating system used, language setting, time of access, etc.). We use this data to improve the functionality of our website. We can also collect data regarding your activity on the website (e.g., pages called, surfing behavior, clicks, actions, etc.).

The second category contains personal data, i.e., data that identifies an individual or could identify them by applying appropriate measures. Such data includes:

  • Device data: we collect the personalized data of your device. Such data includes geolocation data, IP address, unique ID’s (e.g., MAC address and UUID), as well as other data resulting from your activity on the website.
  • Personal data: contact data from the contact form with name, e-mail address, telephone and the actual message. If the customer only fills in the mandatory fields, only these fields will be saved. This data is merely saved to establish initial contact. The data record is deleted once contact has been established.

How do we get your data?

We acquire your personal data from a range of sources.

  • You provide us with this data voluntarily, for example by registering on our website.
  • We receive such data when you use our website or access it in connection with one of our services.
  • We receive such data from other suppliers, services and from public registers (from data traffic analysis providers for example).

Which data is collected?

We do not pass on data to third parties unless as described in this privacy policy.

We use data for the following purposes:

  • For communication with you (for sending information regarding our services, providing technical information and, where necessary, for processing servicing inquiries)
  • For statistical and analysis purposes aimed at improving the website

Besides the various intended uses mentioned above, we may also pass on personal data to our subsidiaries, affiliates and subcontractors.

In addition to the purposes listed in this privacy policy, we may pass on personal data for the following reasons to our reliable external providers who have offices in a range of jurisdictions all over the world:

  • Hosting and operation of our website
  • Provision of our services including the personalized advertisement of our website
  • Saving and processing of such data in our name
  • Activation of advertisements including the possibility of evaluating the success of our advertising campaigns, retargeting of users
  • Supplying of marketing offers and advertising materials in relation to our website and our services
  • Performing studies, technical diagnoses or analyses

We may also publish data if we, in good faith, are of the opinion that is helpful or reasonable in order to: (i) comply with applicable laws, provisions, legal proceedings or official orders; (ii) enforce our rules (including our agreements) and, where necessary, to investigate their potential violation; (iii) investigate, detect, prevent or take measures against illegal activities or other misconduct, suspected fraud or security issues; (iv) assert or enforce our own legal claims. or defend them against claims from others; (v) protect the rights, ownership or our security, the security of our users, your security or the security of third persons; or (vi) collaborate with law enforcement agencies and/or protect intellectual property and/or other legitimate claims.
